Everest's liftgate is wider for easier loading, opens and closes faster, and is designed to fully operate even with a conventional trailer attached.
A third row with real room
The third row on selected Everest Models is wider, with more leg room, improved seats and easier access. Overhead vents keep the air circulating and the rear passengers cool and comfortable. The cabin is quieter, so conversation can flow easily. Of course, side curtain airbags are standard.

FordPass™6 connectivity

View your Vehicle Status and access key information such as tyre pressure⁹ or vehicle location. You can also remotely unlock the vehicle, activate Zone Lighting (where fitted)¹⁰ and start your vehicle to activate the Climate Control to the last setting. All via the FordPass™ App⁶.

The huge 10.1” or 12” touchscreen¹¹ is the command centre of your Everest, giving you instant access to cameras, navigation, entertainment, smartphones, off-road controls and so much more. Everything you need is just a touch away.

Users must have created a FordPass App account (terms apply), have fully activated the vehicle’s FordPass Connect modem and have SYNC Location set to ‘on’ to use this feature.

At the push of a button, a dedicated off-road screen³ provides the ability to see vehicle information such as off-road status and pitch & roll. Vehicles additionally fitted with a 360-Degree Camera^{1 4} will also see a front camera view of the terrain ahead.

Everest includes a network of safety features and smart driver assistance technology¹, working together to protect you. Drive with confidence knowing that the Ford Everest has achieved the maximum ANCAP safety rating of 5-stars.
Emergency Assistance
Feel safer, knowing that Emergency Assistance² can call 000 for help, even if you can’t. When you turn on Emergency Assistance via SYNC ® 4A³, your Everest can alert emergency responders if you’re involved in an accident that activates the airbags or causes the fuel pump to shut off.
9 Airbags
There are 9 airbags available as standard across the Everest range, including an airbag between the front passengers, giving extra protection from side impacts.

BLIS with Trailer Coverage² ⁶ ⁷
Everest takes blind-spot-detection to the next level. BLIS. (Blind Spot Information System) with Trailer Coverage^{6 7}can alert you if a vehicle is detected in your Everest’s or trailer’s blind spot. It’s added peace of mind and makes for less stressful driving.

Pre-Collision Assist with Intersection Assist² ³
Everest can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle, cyclist or pedestrian in front of you and now, Intersection Assist can detect vehicles when turning³. If you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically.
Lane Keeping System with Road Edge Detection² ⁴
Designed with road-trips in mind, Everest can provide gentle steering support to help prevent the vehicle from drifting off the road.
Active Park Assist 2.0² ⁵
For times when you don't want to do it yourself, by simply holding down Platinum’s Park Aid button, Everest can help steer the car into position.
Traffic Sign Recognition¹ ²
Everest can automatically adjust the cruise set speed to the posted speed limit.
Evasive Steer Assist²
If Pre-collision Assist determines the distance is too short to brake in time to avoid a collision, your Everest will provide steering support (without steering for you) to help you avoid the obstacle.
Reverse Brake Assis² ⁸
Your Everest can detect if there is an object or pedestrian behind you or a vehicle about to cross at the rear. It will sound an alert and if you don't react in time will brake for you.

1. Speed Sign Recognition will not always detect the correct speed limit and may display a speed that is above or below the actual speed limit. In some circumstances, Speed Sign Recognition will use map data to display the speed limit on the digital instrument cluster. Ford recommends keeping map data updated by fully activating the vehicle’s FordPass Connect modem and enabling Connected Navigation Services. Connected Navigation Services are included for 1 year from the Ford Express New Vehicle Warranty start date and available ongoing subject to payment of a subscription fee.
2. Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. May not operate at certain speeds, or in certain driving, road or weather conditions.
3. Intersection Assist does not detect all vehicles in intersection, pedestrians or cyclists. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for Limitations.
4. Designed for use on rural roads at speeds of 65 – 110km/h.
5. Standard on Platinum only. Not available on other variants.
6. Trailer Coverage system supports conventional trailer dimensions: up to 2.4m wide (measured at trailer front) and up to 10m long from the rear of your vehicle. Drivers will need to create a profile of their trailers in SYNC to support this system.
7. Only works with a genuine factory fit Ford Tow Bar.
8. Reverse Brake Assist functions when in Reverse and travelling at a speed of 2-12 km/h. Please see the Owner’s Manual for precautions and limitations.
9. Tow Bar and Integrated Brake Controller optional at additional cost.
10. When using the Integrated Trailer Brake Controller, drivers must set the gain on the Braker Controller unit.
